Self Assessment
Mature leadership is a balance among our abilities to: 1) Initiate; 2)
Contain; 3) Take action; 4) Connect with others. The mature leader is able to call on
these abilities, individually or collectively, in response to situations, opportunities or
crises. Each of these abilities is prone to be sabotaged by subconscious or
"shadowy" parts of us.
The Self Assessment, and the associated Third
Party
Evaluation, will assess your leadership strengths and shadows in each of the four
areas. Through our web-based testing tools, you will receive immediate feedback on your
completed assessment.
After completing the Self Assessment, review the summary graphic
and the Assessment Summary Notes, to see indications
of your areas of strength, and indications of areas where you might
sabotage yourself or others. Both the graphical summary and the Summary Notes are intended
to guide you in self-development. They are not a definitive statement of who you
are.
For a more comprehensive assessment, after you have completed your Self
Assessment, have three or more people, who know you well, complete the Third
Party Evaluation
described below. Evaluators' individual responses will not be shared with you, nor
will your scored results be accessible to them. All scoring results are stored for
your later, confidential, review.
You will need to provide these evaluators with:
- the address of the Third Party Evaluation page
- the User ID returned with your Self Assessment results.
